Vermeg makes no representation that materials or services at this Site are appropriate or available for use outside France, and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. You may not use or export or re-export the materials or services at this Site or any copy or adaptation in violation of any applicable laws or regulations including without limitation export laws and regulations. If you choose to access this Site from outside France, you do so, on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of France, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.

12) INFORMATIONS SECURITY POLICY STATEMENT & OBJECTIVES

VERMEG is committed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its information assets at all times to enhance trust, reliability and confidence of all stakeholders including end users, suppliers, and customers.

The policy scope covers physical security and encompasses all forms of information security such as data stored on-premises and cloud environments, transmitted across networks, printed or written on paper, stored on computers, removable devices or spoken in conversation or over the telephone.

Everyone at VERMEG is responsible for managing the security of information. Acceptance of their individual responsibilities and respective accountability is critical to the successful implementation of this policy.

The overall objectives for VERMEG Information Security are the following:

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets, through cost effective and consistent information security infrastructure.

• Establish and maintain an Integrated Information Security Management System (ISMS) and a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) to protect personally identifiable information hosted in both on premises and cloud environments.

• Provide a mechanism to detect and mitigate risks associated with information security domain.

• Adhere all staff to information security concepts by training them when starting and updating & assessing them regularly during their employment.

• Assess the business continuity plan to provide assurance to top management, stakeholders and customers of the viability to minimize security and operational failures due to a catastrophic event.

• Ensure compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations in the domain of information security.

• Protect the physical security to safeguard personnel, information, equipment, IT infrastructure, facilities and all other company assets.

• Commit to the continual improvement of the ISMS and PIMS and keep current with information security technology advances.
